I primarily use Squarespace. This allows clients the ability to make changes pretty easily after out time together. I also offer custom coded static sites if you don't need a blog or don't plan on updating the site yourself.

If you are interested in using another platform, we can discuss it more in detail on the discovery call. I'll still design your website from scratch, but depending on complexity we may need to outsource a developer to help make your design come to life on screen.

Expect to invest a minimum of $2,000 to build your website for my smallest package, the starter site. Inquire for other package prices. The final price of your website is based on a few factors: complexity, scope, and timeline.

The cost of Squarespace, another web hosting platform, and/or the purchase of a domain are not included. Squarespace plans start at around $12 per month.

Some additional costs would be fees for any plugins, stock photography, icons, illustrations, or any other type of media. I will discuss free and paid options before adding any additional fees on top of a project total.

Any changes added to the scope of work during the project (additional pages or features, sourcing photos, adding copywriting, etc.) may result in a change to the final project cost.

Yes, I like to break it up into 2-4 payments depending on how big the project is. I typically ask for 50% to start the project and the remaining 50% when the project is complete.

Working with a designer is a big investment, so I’m flexible to discuss options that work best with your budget. If you need further options, we can talk about how we can better split up the costs to help.

Yes, it's included in my signature web design or branding package. I design a complete visual identity & system. This includes a logo, but also many other important supporting brand elements like alternative logos, marks, patterns, brand colors, fonts, collateral pieces etc. Including all these elements along with the logo will in turn result in a stronger, more cohesive brand.

The overall process varies slightly from project to project. It depends on a few factors: schedule openings, complexity, and your response time.

Most branding projects take 6-8 weeks and website builds take around 8-12 weeks to complete. They are scheduled to begin 2-4 weeks after first contact unless I am fully booked out, then depending on availability. This allows time for you to complete any text copy, take any new photos, and do the homework required for me to create your site.

To build your website properly, I will need all of your content before we begin. This includes any text copy and images or photos you wish to use. I focus the design around all of your content, so having it ready is very important.

Yes! If you need help with copywriting we can bundle it with your web design project. I work with various copywriters and can find one to fit your budget. The investment for copywriting varies based on the size of your project.

Although I am not an SEO sepcialist, all websites are made with basic SEO techniques in mind. If you need further assistance, I can refer you to another specialist or guide you to further reading materials regarding SEO to help.

All packages receive a 1-Hour Site Walk-Through and Training Session during your launch week where I walk you through your site to help you manage your own website moving forward. I want to make sure that you are left feeling comfortable working on your new site after we finish our time together.

If you would rather leave it to a professional to make changes and/or need additional help with your website after our 1 hour session, I am happy to help! I offer ongoing creative and technical support that I can discuss with you after the project ends.
